Sonic, Knuckles and Tails will face off again against a powerful new adversary, Shadow, a mysterious villain with powers unlike anything they’ve faced before. Check out the actors behind some of your favorite animated films and series, including Keanu Reeves in Sonic the Hedgehog 3.
The film is also inspired by narrative elements from the Saturday morning animated television series Sonic the Hedgehog (1993)
The creators of the previous films mentioned that they would be playing both Sonic in Sonic the Hedgehog 2 (2001) and the solo game Shadow the Hedgehog (2005). In the Knuckles TV series, Sonic said, “Robotnik is gone, and there’s no new battle to fight.” But in this film, he tells Tails and Knuckles that they must ask Dr.
Robotnik to help them defeat Shadow The Hedgehog
Because of this, it is unknown how they discovered he was still alive. Commander Walters: [about Shadow] Project Shadow is far beyond anything we have ever encountered.
