Growing up in the Amazon rainforest has given Autumn the rarest of friends – a lost jaguar cub named Hope, whom she discovers. When a tragic event forces Autumn to leave Hope and venture into the unknowns of New York City, she dreams for years of returning to the rainforest and her friend. Autumn is 14 years old and used to city life. She discovers that her childhood village is threatened by animal traffickers and decides to return to the Amazon to her beloved jaguar. Anja (Emily Bett Rickards) – Autumn’s enthusiastic biology teacher – tries unsuccessfully to dissuade her from this reckless plan. Together with Anja, Autumn embarks on a journey to reunite with Hope and save her from those who seek to destroy the rainforest and its wildlife.
