Sequel to Avatar: The Way of Water (2022). Plot unknown. Speaking to French news outlet 20 Minutes (via Culture Crave), James Cameron revealed that the third film will introduce a sinister group of Navi called the Ash People. “I want to show a different side of the Navi, because [so far] I’ve only shown their good sides. In the early films, there are very negative examples of humans and very positive examples of the Navi. In Avatar 3, we’ll do the opposite.” Next up is Avatar 4 (2029)
