Hodge is the third actor to portray Cross, following in the footsteps of Morgan Freeman, who first played him onscreen in 1997's Kiss the Girls and again in the 2001 movie sequel Along Came a Spider; and Tyler Perry as the titular character in 2012's Alex Cross, which bombed at the box office and led Lionsgate to scrap the preplanned sequel Double Cross.. Cross is a new prime series that is based on the James Patterson novels.
He is a very underrated actor, I've always enjoyed his work
Yes, this series may be somewhat different from the novels but they shouldn't be compared. Don't listen to the negative reviews, this a very solid show.
In my opinion, Aldis is the perfect choice for Alex Cross
It starts off slow in the first couple episodes but it picks up and it only gets better as the season goes. A lot might not agree, but I think this is the best adaptation of Cross we have seen yet.
It's a very entertaining show and I hope it gets renewed for a season 2!
