Tale
An agnostic sex podcaster and a newly single rabbi fall in love; discovering if their relationship survive their wildly different lives and meddling families.. Originally titled "Shiksa", which is also the last word said in the first episode.. I really loved this one! Romantic comedies always follow the same formula, but this one has a lot of strong points – + I FELT the chemistry between the leads. It felt natural and harmonic. They played the characters so well! + The dialogue and relationships between the characters felt funny, witty and touching in the best way. + In a world that promotes representation, it's the first time that I saw a Jewish male love interest. I think it displayed beautiful and inclusive parts of the religion without putting it on a pedestal in any way. Great writing, great cast, and incredible chemistry made this a binge watch for me, followed by a quick search for "Will there be a season 2?". Loved this!
