Rufus is a utility that helps in formatting and creating bootable USB flash drives such as USB sticks/pendrives, memory sticks, etc.
This can be especially useful in the following cases:
You need to create USB installation media from bootable ISOs (Windows, Linux, UEFI, etc.)
You need to work on a system that has no operating system installed
You need to flash a BIOS or other firmware under DOS
