Windows 11 has a completely new design. It is clear that Microsoft needs a good reason to retract its previous statements and still abandon Windows 10 by introducing a new number of the operating system. And the brand new design is perfect for that.
The main part of this announcement is a significant change to the user interface. As we know, a significant part of the UX changes will be borrowed from the Windows 10X shell, and Windows 10X will not be released.
Right angles will disappear, replaced by rounding. In fact, the opinions of insiders and concept creators differ on this matter – some are convinced that Microsoft will not change its tradition and stick to straight corners, while others are convinced that in 2021 Microsoft will follow the rounding trend.
There will be a transparent background with a blur everywhere.
